A great batter for frying anything from prawns to vegetables.
Ingredients
8 OZ / 225 G all-purpose flour
1 EA egg
1 TSP salt
8.5 OZ 235 G ice cold soda water
Directions
Add your flour, salt, egg and soda water to the mixing bowl. With the butterfly whisk in place, mix for 20 seconds / speed 4. It is fine if you have a few lumps left in your batter as it will make it even crispier.
Enjoy your dish! It can last for a few hours. Coat your meat or vegetables in flour before attempting to batter something. This batter is best in very hot oil, but be careful when frying in high temperature to avoid spatter.
