3 cans Garbanzo Beans
2 cloves Garlic
200g / 7oz Kale
2 tsp Smoked paprika
2 tsp Cumin
1 Red onion

Salt & Pepper

Broccoli Kale Hummus

1 Tin Garbanzo beans
50g / 2oz Kale
¼ red Onion
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 clove garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp Olive oil


1. Peel your onion and garlic then add it to the mixing bowl along with the kale. Using Manual mode turbo the mix for 5 seconds with the measuring cup inserted.

2. Scrape down the sides.

3. Strain your garbanzo beans and reserve the liquid to loosen up your hummus later. Add the beans to the mixing bowl along with the paprika, olive oil and seasoning to taste.

4. Chop on Speed 4 for 45 seconds Whilst the mix chops slowly add your reserved liquid from the tin till you get the desired texture.

    Falafel Kale Falafel

    1 Can Garbanzo Beans
    ¼ Red onion
    25g / 1oz Kale
    2 Tbsp All purpose four
    1 Garlic clove
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 tsp ground cumin.
    Salt and Pepper to taste

    • Peel your onion and garlic then add it to the mixing bowl along with the kale. Using Manual mode turbo the mix for 5 seconds with the measuring cup inserted. Scrape down the sides.
    • Strain your garbanzo beans and Sure you dry them well. Add the beans to the mixing bowl along with the cumin, olive oil, all purpose flour and seasoning to taste. Chop on Speed 3 for 30 seconds. If your mix is too wet to shape add a little more flour into bowl and mix again.
    • Once mix shape the falafel into 8 balls then flatten slightly. Pan fry on a medium heat with the olive oil for 2 minutes either side.

      Lettuce Garbanzo Salad

      1 can of garbanzo beans
      ½ red onion
      1 tsp smoked paprika
      1 tsp ground cumin
      125g / 5oz Kale
      2 tbsp olive oil
      Salt and pepper to taste.

      1. Peel your onion then add it to the mixing bowl. Using Manual mode chop for 5 seconds speed setting 6 with the measuring cup inserted, scrape down the sides.

      2. Add your olive oil into the mixing bowl along with the paprika and cumin then sauté the onion for 5 minutes on sauté mode.

      3. Strain your garbanzo beans then add to the mixing bowl along with the Kale and seasoning to taste.

      4. Cook your beans on sauté mode for 3 minutes before stirring then cooking for a further 2mins.
