Ingredients
8 OZ / 225 G sesame seeds
1 TSP salt
2 OZ / 60 G grapeseed oil
6 CLOVES garlic
4 OZ / 120 ML fresh lemon juice
0.5 TSP ground cumin
6 OZ / 180 ML ice water
16 OZ / 450 ML water
Directions
Add sesame seeds to mixing bowl. Remove the measuring cup and toast sesame seeds for 10 minutes / 212°F|100°C / speed 1.
Let cool slightly and remove a handful of sesame seeds to reserve for serving. Add salt and mix for 30 seconds / speed 10.
Scrape down sides of mixing bowl and add grapeseed oil. Mix for 30 seconds / speed 8. Use spatula to scrape down sides of mixing bowl. Repeat this step until mixture is smooth and creamy.
Peel garlic cloves and add to mixing bowl. Add lemon juice, salt and cumin to mixing bowl.
Remove the measuring cup and blend mixture for 30 seconds / speed 8. Slowly drizzle in ice water until mixture is smooth and creamy (you may not use all of the water). Pour sauce into serving carafe and clean mixing bowl.

TIPS:
Substitute store bought tahini, just reduce amount of sesame seeds to toast for garnish and skip to "Finish Tahini Sauce" step.
Use tahini sauce on grain bowls, salads, or with fish, or chicken.
