Ingredients
4 EA red or orange pepper
5 OZ / 150 G onion
2 CLOVES garlic
17.5 OZ / 500 G minced beef
1 EA egg
1 TSP paprika powder
1 TSP mustard
2 TBSP tomato purée
2 TBSP breadcrumbs
3 PINCHES pepper
1 TSP salt
17.5 OZ / 500 ML boiling water
Directions
Cut the tops off the peppers then remove the seeds. Reserve the top for later.
Carve a spooky face in the pepper and set aside.
Peel the onions and cut in quarters. Add onions and garlics to the mixing bowl. Make sure the measuring cup is inserted, chop for 10 seconds / speed 5. Use the spatula to scrape down the inside of the mixing bowl.
Add the minced meat, egg, paprika powder, mustard, tomato purée, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper into the mixing bowl. Insert the measuring cup and mix for 20 seconds / speed 3 / stir.
Generously fill the pepper with the mixture.
Then place the stuffed peppers next to each other in the deep steaming tray.
Add the top back on the pepper.
Wash the mixing bowl then add the boiling water.
Set the Steamer on the mixing bowl with the lid in place and steam for 30 minutes.
