Missing Thai cuisine but too lazy to eat outside? Try this authentic Thai noodle dish with shrimp, chicken and bean sprouts.
Ingredients
1 EA chicken thigh
7 OZ / 200 G shrimp tails
2 OZ / 50 G bean sprouts
5.5 OZ / 150 G flat rice noodles
2 EA garlic
26.5 OZ / 750 ML hot water
2 TBSP soft brown sugar
2 TBSP rice vinegar
4 TBSP light soy sauce
1 TBSP fish sauce
1 TBSP sriracha
2 TBSP vegetable oil
2 OZ / 50 G peanuts
2 EA green onion
4 SPRIGS cilantro
Directions
Slice your chicken thighs into small strips, then add to the deep steaming tray. Arrange your shrimps on the shallow steaming tray. Add water and noodles to the mixing bowl, attach the steaming trays and cook your chicken, noodles and shrimps for 15 minutes / 250°F|120°C. Once cooked, remove your chicken and shrimps from the steaming tray and strain your noodles. Rinse them in cold water.
Peel your garlic, then add it to the mixing bowl. With the measuring cup inserted, chop your garlic for 5 seconds / speed 8. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Add your sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar and vegetable oil to the mixing bowl. With the measuring cup removed, sauté your mix for 5 minutes / 250°F|120°C.
Once cooked, add your cooked chicken, prawns, bean sprouts and flat noodles into the mixing bowl with the sauce mix. Cook with the measuring cup removed on sauté mode for 2 minutes / 250°F|120°C.
Serve with sliced green onion, chopped peanuts and cilantro. Enjoy your meal!
