Mix ingredients together and then cook in the same bowl to create this tangy, creamy summertime dessert. How to make Lime Posset with Mango Sauce with Multo™ by CookingPal®?

1. Blend the mango.

Using the different speeds (1-10) offered by Multo™, you can blend your fruit and achieve different textures based on your personal preference.

2. Make the posset.

Cook the cream and sugar together twice at different temperatures to achieve desired consistency. Easily adjust temperatures up to 265F on Multo™ by the jog dial.

3. Top the refrigerated posset with mango sauce.

After posset has become firm, top individual servings with mango sauce and enjoy!

Cooking tips and tricks

  • Since the posset needs time to set after cooking, it may be beneficial to make the recipe the day before serving. This way, the posset is firm and ready to serve immediately when you need it.
  • Too much liquid will prevent proper setting of the posset. Make sure to do exact measurements and cooking times to ensure your posset sets as it should.
  • Use castor or superfine sugar if possible in this recipe. Granulated sugar is a bigger grain and could lead to a grainy texture of your posset, but using a finer ground sugar will eliminate any possibility of your posset becoming grainy. Following exact blending times and speeds will also help to make sure your posset is as creamy as possible.
  • Use a mesh sieve to strain mango sauce and to take away any fruit clumps or pulp that may be present.

What are the variations of the lime posset?

  • This is a very seasonal, refreshing dessert. Topping it with seasonal fresh fruit like raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc. will add more fruit flavors, health benefits, and color to its presentation.
