Celebrate ice cream sandwich day with this child-friendly version of our banana ice cream!
Ingredients
6 EA bananas
7 OZ / 200 G whipping cream
8 EA giant chocolate chip cookies
Directions
Peel and quarter your bananas and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours. Alternately, use ready-frozen bananas.
Attach the butterfly whisk into the mixing bowl and add cream. Remove the measuring cup, whip the cream under constant observation for 1 minute 30 seconds / speed 4 to avoid over whipping.
Remove the butterfly whisk and add the chopped banana. Blend for 1 minute 30 seconds / speed 8.
Scrape down the sides and mix again for 30 seconds / speed 10. Add to the freezer for 1 hour to allow the mix to firm up again.
Divide your ice cream between 4 cookies and gently put the remaining cookies on top. Smooth the sides and place in the freezer for an hour.
Enjoy your treat! Mix up the frozen fruit and the flavor of the cookies.
